Braden’s practice focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal courts, as well as nationally scaled arbitration. He represents clients in complex business disputes, including commercial contract claims, securities fraud matters, partnership and closely held company disputes, trade secret matters, banking disputes, fraud, and other business torts.

Braden views his role as both advocate and counselor. He works with clients to understand not only the dispute in front of them, but also the business realities, risks, and objectives that shape it. His approach is practical and strategic, focused on moving disputes forward with an eye toward both the courtroom and the bottom line.

Before joining Rigby Slack, Braden served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James R. Nowlin in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Outside the office, Braden enjoys getting outside and taking advantage of all Austin has to offer, while continuing his ongoing (and largely unsuccessful) campaign to convince his colleagues that his DoorDash selections deserve more respect.
