Sophie represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation cases in federal and state courts as well as before arbitration panels on a national scale. Sophie’s practice includes business, real estate and securities litigation. Sophie also has experience representing developers in eminent domain and land value litigation. Sophie regularly counsels clients in a broad range of business matters, including breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, fraud and other business torts. Sophie prides herself on being detail oriented, trustworthy and a zealous advocate for clients, but never loses sight of what is in the client’s best business and economic interests.

Prior to joining Rigby Slack, Sophie practiced as an associate at Meister Seelig & Fein, LLP in New York City, where she worked on high stakes commercial litigation matters often involving real estate. Sophie started her career as an associate at boutique law firm representing financial institutions, including broker dealers and investment advisors in FINRA arbitrations.

When not in the office, Sophie can be found tending to her new farm and its animal inhabitants (chickens, cows, horses). Sophie remains steadfast in her desire to use “y’all” effectively.
