Pat is a trial lawyer focusing on defending clients in complex products liability, toxic tort and personal injury litigation. From product safety oversight and recalls to insurance coverage issues and claims, to risk assessment and management, Pat counsels large international insurance companies, manufacturers and retailers, as well as leaner start-up businesses and organizations. Pat has represented numerous commercial airlines; international and domestic insurers; consumer, industrial and military product manufacturers; and national retailers in both state and federal courts of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas.
Parallel to his traditional practice, Pat has also become the legal authority on the impact of next-generation manufacturing on product liability and insurance, in particular, Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing. Pat is fully engaged in the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, Special Olympics Texas and is Head of the “POPSTARS” parents’ organization at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. Pat routinely injures himself being the proud father of two beautiful children and playing club rugby.
